On the morning of July 11, 2025, the Cambodia University of Management and Technology(CUMT) organized the first CUMT English Speaking Contest for first-generation students in year 3.
This important program was organized with 12 student candidates participating in a competition by presenting their English skills and knowledge, which they have worked hard to learn over the past years.
The program is designed to:
- Improve students’ English language skills in practice
- Promote the context of study, such as better use of English
- Increase students’ ability, confidence, motivation​ and find outstanding students in public speaking English at the university.
It is also worth noting that the program was attended and presided over by H.E. Dr. Sles Nazy, Rector of the Cambodia University of Management and Technology(CUMT), who presented letters of commendation to the outstanding students in the program and took memorable photos with all the candidates.
